We have expanded services for the 2024 season. Here’s what you can look forward to this summer!

Book a Tour

Art Tour | Coming 2025 – Michigan City has a rich culture and your JOYDriver has all the information for art lovers. Your tour will start at the Lubeznik Center for the Arts where you can tour permanent & current exhibits of local and international artists’ work. Next is a tour of the thirteen public sculptures around the city including a tribute to African American suffragette Naomi Anderson, a limestone turtle by Anishinaabe artist Jason Quigno and many other artworks in the downtown area.

History Tour | Coming 2025 – Hitch a ride to the historic points of interest around the city, including Barker Mansion & the Old Lighthouse Museum. Other stops on the tour may include Trinity Episcopal Church/Barker Hall, the Hutchinson Mansion, Washington Park and Marina, Naval Armory, the Soldiers and Sailors Monument and the Lincoln Funeral Train stop. Knowledgeable JOYDrivers will also point out architecturally unique buildings as you ride along enjoying the view.

Special Events & Private Parties

Let JOYRide make your event or special occasion unique! Book two pedicabs (minimum) or the entire fleet to chauffer you and your guests. JOYRide is available for weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthday parties, girls’ nights out, or pub crawling – just about any event you want to celebrate in style.

Corporate Sponsored Events

If your business or organization holds a conference or social event within our service area call on the JOYRide fleet to shuttle your guests from hotel to restaurant, go on an art or history tour, or let us take attendees on a shopping spree. For additional fees, our drivers can also act as your brand ambassadors by wearing your company t-shirts, jackets, and hats, while distributing brochures, flyers, and coupons.

Now Hiring for The 2024 Season

JOYDrivers should have a positive, welcoming attitude and be dedicated to providing excellent customer service. An outgoing personality is important too, as you’ll be getting a lot of attention driving our eye-catching pedi-cabs around town.

Knowledge of Michigan City’s attractions, points of interest and businesses is a big plus for applicants as well. Employees will be trained on operating the pedi-cab, as well as for JOYRide’s specialized tours but promoting Michigan City is part of the job.
