October First Friday

Lubeznik Center for the Arts (LCA) is excited to partner with NWI Food Council for a special FREE First Friday on October 3 from 5–8 PM with a presentation at 6 PM (Central).

Celebrate the season with a market-style showcase of fresh fall harvests, including fruits, vegetables and more from local growers. At 6 PM, hear from the NWI Food Council as they share about their FarmHer to Mama program. This initiative connects female farmers, nurses, nutritionists and first-time mothers who are working together to strengthen food security and build a more resilient local food system.

New local artist exhibits will be on view in LCA’s NIPSCO Art Education Studios throughout October, featuring photography by Area Artists Association member Timothy D. Lace and Young Artist Expo participant Kenyon Ploehn.

Join us for an evening of art, community and local flavor, along with complimentary light bites and a cash bar! As always, admission is free!
