The Michigan City Police Department proudly joins law enforcement agencies nationwide in hosting National Night Out on the first Tuesday of August. This annual event is all about strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the community, fostering meaningful connections with neighbors, and reviving a true sense of unity. It’s a chance for residents and officers to come together in a positive, welcoming environment to build trust, promote safety, and celebrate community spirit.
