We’re opening the doors to our warehouse on Saturday, April 18th, and you’re invited to get an inside look at what it’s really like to be part of the JOYRide crew. Whether you’re considering becoming a driver or just curious about how everything works, this event is designed to be low-pressure, informative, and most importantly, fun!

What Time: 10 am-12 pm

 

What To Expect

 

When you arrive at the JOYRide warehouse, you’ll be welcomed by our friendly team and invited to explore at your own pace!

 

Throughout the event, you’ll have the chance to:

  • Meet the team and get a feel for the JOYRide culture.
  • Ask questions about scheduling, pay, expectations, and day-to-day life as a driver.
  • Watch live demos to see how the trikes operate.
  • Take a guided test drive and experience what it’s like behind the handlebars.
  • Enjoy complimentary refreshments while you hang out and learn more.

There are no formal interviews and no pressure…just an open, welcoming environment where you can decide if JOYRide is the right fit for you!

JOYRide is so much more than just a summer job. When you join our team, you’re not just signing up for six weeks; you’re part of our family! As one of our drivers, you’ll be able to attend festivals, parades, and local events in the heart of Michigan City all year round, not just for the summer. Our drivers are at the heart of our mission to spread joy, fun, and positivity throughout Michigan City. You’ll help visitors explore all the best spots and create memorable moments for locals. Plus, our JOYDrivers receive $15 an hour in addition to tips, paid training, a driver referral program, and incentives for reaching a certain number of rides. 

 

Who Should Come?

 

Everyone is invited to come check out our warehouse and meet our team! We encourage anyone interested in becoming a JOYDriver, people who want a flexible, active job for the season, and those who are curious but not quite ready to apply, to come to the hiring event. 

 

Anyone is welcome; however, if you’re looking to drive for JOYRide, there are a few things that are required:

 

  • Aged 21+
  • Has a valid driver’s license
  • Is local to Michigan City or knowledgeable about the area and community

 

We’re looking for people who are friendly, reliable, and excited to be part of a team that values positivity, flexibility, and fun. If you enjoy being outdoors, meeting new people, and staying active, this might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
