A Slice of Heaven

This roadside stand is one of our personal favorites, and a Michigan City hidden gem. A Slice of Heaven definitely lives up to its name, with fresh, homemade desserts. They serve plenty of delicious favorites, like Amish Country gourmet pie, cookies, and a selection of delicious treats from Valpo Velvet ice cream, such as cones, sundaes, and ice cream sandwiches. Located at Lighthouse Place, the South Bend Chocolate Café serves handcrafted chocolates, gourmet coffee, creamy ice cream, caramel corn, specialty drinks, and plenty of chocolate-covered treats that make excellent gifts or souvenirs.
